Mesh banners are printed on a perforated PVC mesh that lets wind pass through, so they stay on a fence, scaffold or building front in conditions that would tear or blow down a solid PVC banner. They are the standard choice for construction hoardings, sporting grounds, events, shopfronts and large wraps. We print three sizes, 1800 x 600mm, 1800 x 900mm and 3000 x 1000mm, in three mesh options: 12x12 premium mesh for the sharpest image, 9x9 standard mesh, and 6x6 open mesh for maximum airflow. Not every size comes in every mesh, and the configurator shows what is available for the size you pick. Choose eyelets every 300mm, 500mm or 1000mm on all four sides. Delivery is priced by size and quantity. A free artwork check is included, with an instant online proof (manual proof $15).

Mesh banner artwork is the banner size plus 3mm bleed on all edges, so a 3000 x 1000mm banner needs a 3006 x 1006mm file. Keep text and logos at least 50mm inside the trim, clear of the eyelets. Perforated mesh reduces image sharpness a little, so use bold shapes and large text. Supply a single-page PDF in CMYK with fonts outlined or embedded; 50 to 100 dpi at full size is enough for large banners. We check every file free before printing.

Wind passes through mesh, so it puts far less strain on the fixings and the fence. Choose mesh for exposed outdoor sites and solid PVC banners where you need a sharper, opaque image.
What is the difference between the mesh grades?
12x12 premium has the finest weave and the sharpest print. 9x9 standard is a good all-rounder. 6x6 open lets the most wind through, with a coarser image.
How are mesh banners fixed?
With cable ties or rope through the eyelets, which are spaced at 300mm, 500mm or 1000mm on all four sides. Closer spacing holds the banner flatter in wind.
Can you see through mesh?
Slightly. From the front the image reads clearly; from behind you can see through the perforations to some degree.
Can mesh banners be used on a fence in strong wind?
Yes, that is what mesh is for. The holes let wind pass through, so the load on the fence and the fixings is far lower than with a solid banner. Still tie off at every eyelet, use closer eyelet spacing on exposed sites and take the banner down in a storm.
How long do mesh banners last outdoors?
Typically several months to a couple of years outdoors, depending on exposure. Direct sun, coastal air and constant flapping shorten it, and a sheltered fence lasts longest.
How much do mesh banners cost?

How should I set up my mesh banner artwork?
Make the file the finished size plus 3mm bleed on every edge, keep text and logos inside the safe area, and supply a PDF in CMYK with fonts outlined or embedded. We check every file free before printing.
How long will my mesh banners take to arrive?
Mesh Banners are dispatched 4 to 10 business days after your artwork is approved. After dispatch, delivery typically takes 1 to 8 business days depending on where you are, for example 1 to 3 to Melbourne, 1 to 4 to Sydney, 2 to 4 to Brisbane and 3 to 6 to Perth. What if there is a problem with my mesh banners?
If we make a print error, or your order does not match your approved proof, report it within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos and we will reprint or refund. If the parcel is damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days with photos of the parcel and the goods; we lodge a claim with the courier and pass on the outcome.

Upload your artwork. In your basket, upload a PDF, JPG or PNG for each design (front and back of the same piece count as one design). We accept CMYK files with fonts outlined or embedded and the bleed shown in the artwork set-up for your product (3mm for most products, 5mm for double-sided corflute, and no extra bleed for pull-up banners), at 300 dpi for print products. Approve your on-screen proof. See your design on screen with the trim line, bleed and safe area marked. Tick to approve it and nothing changes after that. Want a person to check it first? Add a manual proof for $15 per design and we send you a proof to approve.

Delivery
We deliver Australia-wide by courier to homes and businesses. Delivery is free on print products, and wide format items have a delivery charge priced by size, quantity and postcode.
Print products (business cards, flyers, postcards, letterheads, compliment slips, brochures, presentation folders, stickers and magnetic fridge calendars) are delivered free. There is no minimum spend.
Wide format products (posters, corflute signs, A-frame signs, foamboard and PVC signs, PVC banners, pull-up banners) have delivery priced by size, quantity and delivery postcode, based on real courier rates, from $17. Several signs or banners going to one address are packed and priced together as one delivery. Remote and regional areas cost more because courier rates are higher there. The exact cost is shown in your basket once you enter a postcode, and at checkout before you pay. Nothing is added after payment.
Dispatch is shown on each product page. It is counted in business days from the day you approve your instant on-screen proof (or the manual proof we send, if you chose one): 4 business days for print products, 7 for magnetic fridge calendars, 3 for posters, A-frame and foamboard signs, and 2 to 3 for corflute signs, PVC banners, pull-up banners and PVC signs.
Delivery after dispatch typically takes 1 to 8 business days depending on your postcode, for example 1 to 3 to Melbourne, 1 to 4 to Sydney, 2 to 4 to Brisbane and 3 to 6 to Perth. These are estimates, and couriers set the final delivery time.

Artwork Help
What is bleed? Bleed is extra space around your design (3mm for print products, posters, corflute signs, A-frame signs and PVC banners, or 5mm for double-sided corflute, foamboard and PVC signs; pull-up banners need no extra bleed) to allow for slight trimming during production. Without bleed, colour or content may be cut off. Always include bleed in your artwork file.
What is CMYK? CMYK is the colour mode used in printing (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Design files in RGB (screen colour) may print differently. Convert your design to CMYK before uploading.
What resolution do I need? Print artwork should be 300 dpi at final size. Wide-format items (posters, banners) can use 100–150 dpi because they are viewed from a distance. Low resolution may result in blurry or pixelated output.
Free artwork check included. Our automatic check looks at your file's size and bleed, colour mode, resolution and fonts as soon as you upload it, and shows the result straight away.
Paid artwork add-ons are available:
- Artwork check and fix. We correct bleed, colour, resolution or font issues for $25 per design.
- Design it for me. Our designer creates your artwork from a brief or rough sketch for $150 per design, or makes a simple edit to your existing artwork for $60.

Reordering is easy. After your first order, use your unique reorder link to place the same design again without setup costs. Reorder links are emailed to you after your order is confirmed.
Multiple designs. Prices and minimum quantities are per design, and each design is priced for its own quantity. Quantities are not combined across designs. For example, 200 business cards for 2 staff members is 2 designs, and 350gsm double-sided business cards with no laminate start at 25 per design, so that is 2 x 100 (many other cards start at 100, and cards laminated on both sides on 350gsm at 250 per design). For many small runs, request a quote.
Multiple quantities. Order in bulk on the product page by increasing the quantity. Pricing typically scales down at higher volumes. See live pricing as you adjust quantity.
Ongoing or frequent orders. If you order the same design regularly, your reorder link stays active. Place a new order at any time. Each reorder is dispatched in the product's usual number of business days after you approve it.
