Heat is the local issue more than rain. A roll of labels left in a tin shed or a ute in summer can soften the adhesive and curl paper stock, so store rolls somewhere cool and apply labels at room temperature to a clean, dry surface. White gloss paper is fine for dry packaging. White synthetic with gloss laminate is waterproof, so it suits chilled drinks, condiments, bathroom products and anything that gets wiped down. Clear synthetic, backed with white ink, gives a printed-on look on glass. None of the stocks is meant for long-term outdoor use, so they are not the answer for a toolbox that lives in the sun. Labels are dispatched 2 to 4 business days after artwork approval, with free delivery, and delivery to Townsville is estimated at 2–4 business days after dispatch. The courier covers Townsville City, Railway Estate, Garbutt, Bohle, Kirwan, Annandale and Bushland Beach, and further out Ayr, Home Hill, Ingham, Charters Towers and Magnetic Island, which can take longer than the estimate. There is no Townsville counter for pickup.
