In short
A brand of lightweight, rigid foam board with a smooth white printable face, available in thicknesses from 5mm to 19mm for signs and displays.
What it is
KAPAplast is a lightweight board made of a rigid foam core between smooth, white faces. It is very flat and stiff for its weight and takes full-colour printing well, so it is widely used for exhibition panels, retail displays and mounted prints.
Thicknesses
We print KAPAplast in 5mm, 10mm and 19mm. 5mm suits wall signs and table displays. 10mm is stiffer for larger boards. 19mm is a thick, solid board for freestanding displays.
How it compares with other boards
Foamboard is similar in structure but usually softer and easier to dent. Foam PVC is denser and more waterproof, but heavier. Corflute (corrugated plastic) is tougher outdoors and cheaper but has a visible ribbed surface. KAPAplast is the choice when you want a flat, light, premium indoor board.
Care
KAPAplast is for indoor use. Keep it dry, and avoid knocks to the edges and corners.
Availability
We print KAPAplast signs in 5mm, 10mm and 19mm in six sizes from 300 x 450mm to 1200 x 2400mm, and use it for floor standees. See our KAPAplast signs.
