In short
A perforated window vinyl printed so the design shows clearly from the street while people inside can still see out through the tiny holes.
How it works
One-way vision film is a vinyl with thousands of tiny holes. The outer face carries your printed design, and the inner face is a dark backing. From outside, the eye sees the printed face. From inside, the eye looks through the holes and sees the view outside. The effect depends on light: it works best when it is brighter outside than inside.
Where it is used
Shopfront and office windows, cafe glass, bus and van windows and glass partitions, where you want a large graphic without blocking the view or the daylight.
Limits
The perforations soften fine detail, so use bold shapes and large text. At night, with the lights on inside, the effect reverses and the film looks dark and see-through from outside. It also reduces light slightly.
One-way vision versus reversed window stickers
A reversed (window) sticker is printed on clear film as a mirror image and fitted inside the glass, so it is read through the glass and protected from the weather. It blocks the view where it is printed. One-way vision keeps the view through the glass.
Availability
We print one-way vision stickers from 300 x 300mm to 1000 x 1000mm. See our one-way vision stickers and reversed window stickers.
