In short
The price shown on Down Under Print is the total you pay. We're not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and nothing is added at checkout.

How it works on our site
Down Under Print is not currently registered for GST. That means we don't charge GST, so the price you see is the price you pay (plus delivery on wide format items, shown before you pay). We say "total price, no GST charged" next to our prices so it's clear the price shown is the full amount, with no tax to come on top. The total shown in your basket and at checkout is the amount you pay, and your receipt shows it the same way.
What 'ex GST' means on other quotes
Other printers sometimes quote 'ex GST' prices. An ex GST price does not include Australian Goods and Services Tax, so 10% is added at checkout. You will also see the terms GST-exclusive or pre-tax used for the same figure. An 'inc GST' price has the tax already included. None of this applies to our prices: there is no GST to add.
Why the label matters
If you run a business, the GST treatment of a purchase affects your bookkeeping. Because we don't charge GST, there is no GST amount on our receipts for you to claim as a credit. Check with your accountant if you're unsure how to record the expense.
A common mistake
Comparing an ex GST price from one business with an inc GST price from another makes the cheaper option hard to spot. Compare like with like: check whether each price includes GST before deciding. Our price is already the total.
If our GST registration status changes, prices and receipts will show GST clearly, and this page will be updated.
For example prices across our range, see what printing costs, with no GST charged. Delivery is shown the same way: see delivery costs and GST.
