A2 is 420 x 594mm, double A3 and four times the size of an A4 page. It is the usual size for retail window posters, event and theatre posters, gallery prints and classroom or office displays, where a poster needs to read from across a room or a footpath. We print A2 posters single sided on 200gsm matt from 10 copies, up to 200 per design, or on 150gsm gloss from 500 for wide distribution. Every order includes a free artwork check and an instant online proof. Posters are dispatched 3 business days after you approve your artwork and packed rolled in a protective tube, with courier delivery priced by quantity and postcode.
About this A2 Poster spec
Build the file at 426 x 600mm, which is 420 x 594mm plus 3mm bleed. Keep important text and logos 10mm inside the trim. Use CMYK with fonts outlined or embedded. At A2, a photo at 150 dpi needs about 2,480 x 3,510 pixels; that is enough for a poster viewed from a metre or more, while 300 dpi (about 4,960 x 7,020 pixels) suits close viewing. Headlines need to be large: 60mm letters read from roughly 20 metres. If you want a white border for framing, build it into the artwork file itself.

How big is an A2 poster?
420 x 594mm, about 16.5 x 23.4 inches. It is double A3 and half of A1, and close in size to our 450 x 600mm corflute sign if you need a weatherproof version for outdoors.
What is the minimum order for A2 posters?
10 copies per design on 200gsm matt, with tiers up to 200. For runs of 500 or more, choose 150gsm gloss. Each different design needs its own minimum quantity, and the configurator shows the live price for every tier.
What resolution do I need for an A2 poster?
About 2,480 x 3,510 pixels (150 dpi at full size) is enough for most posters viewed from a metre or more. For prints people will study up close, aim for 300 dpi. The free artwork check flags low-resolution images before printing.
How is an A2 poster delivered?
