Feather Flags for Adelaide businesses
Adelaide's calendar of festivals, markets and wine-region events gives feather flags plenty of work. The Fringe alone fills the city with pop-up venues that need to be seen from the street. We print three heights, small (2400mm), medium (3450mm) and large (4700mm), on lightweight or silverback fabric, one side or both. The small flag with pole, spike and carry bag starts at $172 for 1 (2.4m Small, lightweight fabric, single sided, flag, pole, spike and bag), the medium at $210 for 1 (3.45m Medium, lightweight fabric, single sided, flag, pole, spike and bag), and the flag on its own, for buyers with a pole, at $133 for 1 (2.4m Small, lightweight fabric, single sided).
For Fringe and festival venues, order early and keep the design simple: a venue name, a show or bar name and one bold colour read from a distance, while small print does not. Venues often share a laneway or park, so check how many flags the site manager allows. For cellar doors and market stalls, the usual choice is a small or medium flag at the gate with the logo in the middle third, away from the curved edge. The supplied spike needs soft ground such as lawn or garden beds; for paving or a car park you need a cross base or water bag, which we do not sell. See our market stall setup checklist and, for a wider display, rectangle flags.

Local signage rules
Councils in the Adelaide area regulate advertising signs and flags on footpaths and public land, and the rules differ between council areas. Festival sites, parks and show grounds set their own rules about what you may put up. Check with the council or the site manager before you put flags out.
Adelaide FAQs
Which flag suits an Adelaide Fringe venue?
Small (2400mm) or medium (3450mm), single-sided, with the venue name big and one other line. Fringe laneways are busy, so shorter flags are easier to place and carry.
Can I use a feather flag at a cellar door?
Yes. Cellar doors use flags at the gate or car park to mark the entry. Use the spike in lawn or garden soil, and fix the pole firmly because exposed sites can be breezy.
How many flags can I put out at a festival site?
That is set by the site or council, not by us. Ask the venue manager how many flags and what heights are allowed before you order.
Does the flag stay out overnight?
It can, but wind, rain and sun wear it faster. Take it in after trading where you can, and take it down in strong wind.
How much are feather flags in Adelaide, and is GST added?
Prices start at $172 for 1 (2.4m Small, lightweight fabric, single sided, flag, pole, spike and bag), or $133 for 1 (2.4m Small, lightweight fabric, single sided) if you already have a pole. The price shown is the total you pay: we are not registered for GST, so none is added. Medium and large flags, silverback fabric and two-sided printing cost more, and the price panel shows each live price.
How long do feather flags take to reach Adelaide?
Dispatch is 3 business days after your artwork is approved, then delivery to Adelaide is estimated in the delivery box on this page. Flags are priced for delivery by size, quantity and postcode, and the delivery price is shown in your basket once you enter your postcode, before you pay.
