PVC Banners, 3000 x 1000mm Fence Banner
Fence banners turn a plain stretch of temporary fencing, a school boundary or a sports-ground rail into advertising that works every day it stays up. We print them on PVC vinyl, one metre tall and 1 to 6 metres wide, with eyelets around all four sides at roughly 500mm spacing so you can tie off along the full edge. This page opens at 3000 x 1000mm, which spans more than one standard temporary fence panel and reads clearly from across a road. Builders, sporting clubs and event organisers order them most. One banner is the minimum order. Dispatch is 2 to 3 business days after you approve the artwork, delivery is priced by postcode in the basket before you pay, and no GST is charged (we're not registered for GST).
About this 3000 x 1000mm Fence Banner spec
Our fence banners are solid PVC vinyl, not mesh. Solid vinyl gives a sharp, fully opaque print but catches wind like a sail, so tie off at every eyelet, top and bottom, and keep the banner pulled flat against the fence. Supply a CMYK PDF at the finished size plus 3mm bleed on each edge (3006 x 1006mm here), at 100 to 150 dpi, with fonts outlined or embedded. Keep logos and phone numbers at least 45mm in from the edges, clear of the eyelets. For an easy drive-by read, allow about 25mm of letter height per 3m of viewing distance; the often-quoted 25mm per 10m is the limit of legibility, not a comfortable read.

Do you print mesh fence banners?
No. Every fence banner we print is solid PVC vinyl. That suits sheltered fences, shorter runs and sites where the banner is tied at every eyelet against a firm backing. For long runs on exposed, windy sites, especially high up or on the coast, mesh that lets air through is the better choice, and you would need to source it elsewhere.
What size fence banner should I order?
Match the banner to the visible fence width and how far away people will read it. A 2 x 1m banner suits a single fence panel or a gate. A 3 x 1m banner covers more than a standard 2.4m temporary panel. The 5 x 1m and 6 x 1m sizes suit long frontages seen from across a road or car park.
How do I attach a banner to a fence?
Thread cable ties through every eyelet and around the fence wire or rail, pulling them snug so the banner sits flat; ties along the top alone let the bottom flap and tear. On temporary fencing, tie to the mesh rather than the clamps. A solid banner loads the fence in a storm, so brace or weight exposed panels and take the banner down if severe winds are forecast.
How long does a fence banner last outdoors?
Usually several months to a couple of years. PVC vinyl banners are weather and UV resistant, but constant direct sun, coastal salt air and wind flogging all shorten that life. A banner tied tight against a fence on a sheltered side will outlast one left loose on an exposed corner.
