Corflute Signs, 450 x 600mm Corflute Sign
At 450 x 600mm, this is the smallest corflute sign we print and the easiest to place. It is close to the size of an A2 poster: big enough for a logo, a short headline and a phone number, and small enough to cable-tie to a fence, gate, shopfront or star picket without catching the wind like a sail. Each sign is printed on 3mm corflute with an eyelet in every corner, single or double sided. You can order from 1 sign up to 500 of the same design single sided, or up to 100 double sided. Signs are dispatched 2 to 3 business days, depending on quantity, after you approve your artwork, with delivery priced by postcode in the basket. No GST is charged, so the price shown is the total you pay.
About this 450 x 600mm Corflute Sign spec
Set the page up at 450 x 600mm (portrait) or 600 x 450mm (landscape); both cost the same. Add 3mm bleed for single-sided signs, giving a 456 x 606mm file, or 5mm bleed for double-sided. Keep a 45mm clear zone in each corner where the eyelets are punched, and keep text at least 45mm in from those edges. Images at 100 to 150 dpi at full size are fine for a sign read from a few metres away; save 300 dpi for fine detail. Stick to one message: a headline, a name or logo, and one way to contact you.

One sign costs $41 in every size we print (450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm), so for a single sign the largest size costs no more than the smallest. A single sign is priced to cover the set-up and handling every order needs, whatever its size. From 2 signs, the larger size costs more: 2 signs at 450 x 600mm cost $57, and 2 at 900 x 1200mm cost $67.

How big is a 450 x 600mm corflute sign in inches or feet?
It measures about 17.7 x 23.6 inches, or roughly 1.5 x 2 feet. That is close to an A2 poster (420 x 594mm). The sign covers about 0.27 square metres, which is half the area of our 600 x 900mm sign.
Can I order just one 450 x 600mm sign?
Yes. You can order a single sign. Single sided, this size goes up to 500 per design, the widest quantity range of our three corflute sizes; double sided goes up to 100. Each artwork is priced as its own design, so ten signs with ten different street names count as ten designs.
Can a 450 x 600mm corflute sign be printed on both sides?
Yes. Choose double sided in the configurator and supply a two-page PDF, front then back, each with 5mm bleed. Double-sided printing suits signs on a fence, pole or median strip that people approach from both directions.
How far away can people read a 450 x 600mm sign?
A common signwriting rule of thumb is about 25mm of capital-letter height for every 10 metres of reading distance. A headline 75mm tall on this sign reads from roughly 30 metres in good light, which suits footpaths, driveways and car parks better than fast roads.
How do I put up a small corflute sign?
Each sign has an eyelet in all four corners. Cable ties through the eyelets hold it firmly on a fence, gate or star picket, and screws work on a timber post. Stakes and frames are not included, so check what you will fix it to before the signs arrive.
How long does a corflute sign last outside?
Corflute is a waterproof plastic board and the inks are UV-stable, so expect several months to a year or so outdoors. Full sun, strong wind and coastal air shorten that; a sheltered wall or fence position lengthens it.
