Corflute Signs, 450 x 600mm Directional Sign
Directional signs get guests, buyers and visitors from the main road to the right gate, car park or room without anyone having to ring for directions. We print them on 3mm corflute from one sign per design, in 450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm, with eyelets in all four corners. This page opens at 450 x 600mm, the usual size for open-home arrows, wedding signs and car park directions: big enough for a bold arrow and a few words, light enough to carry a stack in a car boot. Corflute is waterproof, so the same arrows can go out for every open home or event over a season. Each design is priced separately, so plan your left, right and straight-ahead arrows first. Signs are dispatched 2 business days after artwork approval (3 for orders of 150 or more).
About this 450 x 600mm Directional Sign spec
An arrow sign is read in a second or two from a moving car, so make the arrow the biggest element and add no more than four or five words, such as the event name or OPEN HOME. Upload left-pointing and right-pointing arrows as separate designs; an arrow with no wording can simply be turned to point either way. Supply a CMYK PDF at 456 x 606mm with 3mm bleed, or with 5mm bleed per edge if double sided, and keep the 45mm eyelet corners clear. High contrast, such as black on yellow or white on a dark colour, carries furthest.

- Farm gate, cellar door and roadside stall directions
Corflute Signs: quick answers
Live prices, worked out the same way as the configurator above.
Why does one large corflute sign cost the same as a small one?
One sign costs $41 in every size we print (450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm), so for a single sign the largest size costs no more than the smallest. A single sign is priced to cover the set-up and handling every order needs, whatever its size. From 2 signs, the larger size costs more: 2 signs at 450 x 600mm cost $57, and 2 at 900 x 1200mm cost $67.
How much does one 450 x 600mm corflute sign cost? 1 sign · $41

How much do 10 small (450 x 600mm) corflute signs cost? 10 signs · $100
10 corflute signs (450 x 600mm, 3mm, eyelets in each corner, printed one side) cost $100 ($10.00 each, total price, no GST charged). Delivery is priced by postcode, from $18 for this order, and shown in your basket before you pay. Orders are dispatched 2 business days after you approve your proof.
How much do 50 small (450 x 600mm) corflute signs cost? 50 signs · $346

450 x 600mm Directional Sign FAQs
What size directional sign do I need?
450 x 600mm suits footpaths, driveways and street corners where drivers are slowing down to turn. Step up to 600 x 900mm on faster roads or where the sign must be seen from further back, and use 900 x 1200mm for main-road turn-offs into events, estates or venues. All sizes can be portrait or landscape.
Should directional signs be double sided?
Single sided suits most arrows, which face one stream of traffic. Double sided helps where people approach from both directions, but check the artwork carefully: a sign standing beside the road shows its back to drivers coming the other way, so an arrow pointing right on the front must point left on the back.
How do I stand directional signs up?
Cable-tie them through the corner eyelets to a fence, pole, star picket or a pair of garden stakes, or screw them to a timber frame you can reuse. Stakes and frames are not included with the signs, so organise them before the day and test one sign in place.
Can I put directional signs on the footpath or roadside?
Rules vary by council, so check before placing signs on nature strips, roundabouts or road reserves; many councils limit temporary signs to set hours or days. Signs that control traffic on public roads have their own requirements. On private land, event sites and car parks you generally have more freedom.
How many directional signs should I order?
Walk or drive the route and count every turn and every point where someone might hesitate, then add one at the destination itself. A suburban open home may need only a few arrows, while a wedding on a rural property can need more for the turn-off, driveway and parking. Order a spare of each direction.
Will corflute arrow signs last for repeat events?
Corflute is waterproof and weather resistant, and signs that go out for a day at a time and are stored flat indoors between uses can serve many events. Left outside permanently, expect several months to a year or so before sun fading shows, and less in harsh exposure.
