Corflute Signs, 600 x 900mm Corflute Sign
600 x 900mm is the size most Australians picture when they think of a corflute sign. It is the common format for real estate for-sale and for-lease boards, election and candidate signs, and builder and trade signs on site fences. It is large enough for a photo, a name and a phone number that can be read from a passing car, yet light enough for one person to carry and fix in place. We print it on 3mm corflute with an eyelet in each corner, single or double sided, in portrait or landscape at the same price. Order from 1 sign up to 100 per design. Signs are dispatched 2 to 3 business days after artwork approval, depending on quantity, and delivery is priced by postcode before you pay.
About this 600 x 900mm Corflute Sign spec
Build the file at 600 x 900mm portrait or 900 x 600mm landscape. Add 3mm bleed on every edge for single-sided signs (a 606 x 906mm file) or 5mm for double-sided (610 x 910mm). Keep a 45mm clear zone at each eyelet corner and keep key text 45mm in from the edges. Images at 100 to 150 dpi at full size are enough for a sign read from metres away; a photo of about 2,400 x 3,600 pixels covers the whole sign at 100 dpi. For roadside signs, keep to around seven words plus a name or number, in a heavy sans-serif font with strong contrast.
Common uses

- Election, council and candidate campaign signs
- Builder and tradie signs on site fences

600 x 900mm Corflute Sign FAQs
How big is a 600 x 900mm corflute sign in feet?
It is about 2 x 3 feet (23.6 x 35.4 inches) and covers 0.54 square metres. That is twice the area of a 450 x 600mm sign and half the area of a 900 x 1200mm sign, which is why it is the usual middle ground for property and campaign signs.
Is 600 x 900mm the standard size for election signs?
It is the most common size for candidate corflutes. Electoral commissions and councils can limit sign sizes near polling places and on public land, so check the current rules for your election and area. Rules change and councils set their own placement rules, so check current requirements and include any authorisation statement.
Can I print a different design on each side?
Yes. Choose double sided and upload a two-page PDF. The back can repeat the front, so a sign on a fence or median strip reads from both directions, or carry a different message such as an agent's contact details. Allow 5mm bleed on both pages.
Can I order a single 600 x 900mm sign?
Yes. Quantities start at 1 sign and go up to 100 per design. The price per sign drops as the quantity rises, and the configurator shows the live price for every tier. Agents ordering one sign per property add each address as its own design.
How far away can a 600 x 900mm sign be read?
Using the common rule of about 25mm of letter height per 10 metres, a 120mm headline reads from roughly 45 to 50 metres. Drivers only glance at a sign for a second or two, so fewer, larger words work better than extra detail.
How do I mount it on star pickets or a fence?
Use the corner eyelets with cable ties or screws. Two star pickets with the sign tied between them, or a timber frame, are the usual roadside set-ups. On a fence, tie all four corners so the wind can't flap it. Pickets and frames are not included.
