PVC Banners for Events & Weddings
PVC banners are the signs that survive a weekend outdoors. A festival uses them on fences and gates, a school fete hangs one at the entrance and a wedding venue hangs one by the driveway. Ours come in six sizes, all 1000mm tall and from 1000mm to 6000mm wide, on PVC vinyl, single sided, with eyelets on all sides at 500mm spacing, from one banner.
A typical use: a community festival orders a banner for the main gate and two for the stage fence. Fix at every eyelet with ties, and plan for wind. Check with the venue or council about hanging banners on fences. Dispatch is 2 to 3 business days after your artwork is approved, depending on the quantity tier. See the PVC banner guide.
Worked example. A school fete committee orders one banner for the main gate and two for the oval fence, with the fete name, date and a thank-you to sponsors. A volunteer ties each banner at every eyelet on the Friday afternoon and takes them down on Sunday. The committee stores the banners and orders new ones only when the date changes.
Weather and fixing. For outdoor events, treat the banner as a sail. Use cable ties at every eyelet, preferably the stronger UV-resistant type, and spread the load across the fence rather than hanging from only two corners. On exposed sites, add a second line of ties through the middle eyelets. If severe weather is forecast, take the banner down or fold it to avoid damage. After the event, roll the banner loosely, keep it dry and store it flat. A banner with a generic message such as 'Welcome' can be reused for future events, so avoid printing a specific date if you plan to keep it.
How Events & Weddings uses PVC Banners
Gate and entrance banners
A banner at the gate tells arrivals they are in the right place.
Stage and fence branding
Hang banners along fences to brand the site.
Sponsor visibility
Sponsors receive prominent display.
Wedding venue signage
A welcome banner at the driveway directs guests.
Design tips
Keep the message short: event name and date. Use large type and strong contrast. Keep text away from the eyelets. Tie at every eyelet and choose windy-day positions carefully.

PVC Banners for Events & Weddings: FAQs
What size is the banner?
Six sizes, all 1000mm tall: 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 or 6000mm wide. All are single sided, with eyelets on all sides.
What is the minimum order?
One banner.
Do I need approval to hang a banner at a venue?
Check with the venue or council.
Will it survive a weekend of weather?
Yes, if fixed at every eyelet. Take it down in severe weather.
Can banners be reused for next year's event?
If the message has no date, yes. Otherwise order a new banner with the new date.
Should I use UV-resistant cable ties?
They last longer outdoors in strong sun than standard ties. Check the rating before you buy.
