Corflute Signs for Trades & Construction
A site sign tells neighbours and passers-by who is building, and it advertises your business for the whole job. Ours are 3mm corflute in 450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm, single or double sided, with eyelets in all four corners for cable ties on temporary fencing. Orders start at one sign, and the price per sign drops as you order more of one design.
Most builders keep a stock: one 600 x 900mm sign for the front fence of each job, a 450 x 600mm sign for the side gate or site entry, and a 900 x 1200mm sign for corner blocks, developments and display homes. Ordering 10, 25 or 50 of one design costs far less per sign than reordering one at a time, and the signs come down and go up again on the next job. Dispatch is 2 to 3 business days after you approve your instant on-screen proof, depending on quantity. Check the rules for the site, the principal contractor and the council before installing, and read our council rules guide.
Worked example. A builder running about ten jobs a year orders 25 signs in 600 x 900mm with the business name, licence number and phone, and 10 in 450 x 600mm for side gates. Each job gets one of each, fixed with cable ties at all four eyelets, and the spares sit in the ute for the day one blows away or gets damaged.
How Trades & Construction uses Corflute Signs
Front-fence job signs
A bold sign on the front fence advertises your business to every passer-by for the length of the job.
Safety and site-entry notices
Smaller signs mark entries and visitor requirements. Check any statutory wording with the site manager.
Temporary roadside advertising
A sign on a stake at a local intersection can promote a seasonal offer. Check council rules for roadside signs.
Spare signs for multiple sites
Order two or three so a sign is always ready for the next job.
Design tips
Business name, trade and one phone number, in that order, and keep it to four lines. Use high contrast, such as black on yellow or white on dark blue, so the sign reads at distance and in dusty conditions. Add your licence number as required. Keep the edges clear so the eyelets do not hit the text, and fix at all four corners to stop wind lifting the sign.

Corflute Signs for Trades & Construction: FAQs
How do I mount a sign on a construction fence?
Use cable ties or rope through the eyelets to the fence or a stake, and tie at all four corners.
Are corflute signs durable on site?
They are weather-resistant but light, so wind and knocks can damage them. Order a spare.
Which size is best for a house site?
600 x 900mm suits most front fences. 900 x 1200mm suits larger commercial sites.
Do I need to show my licence on the sign?
Most states require licence numbers on advertising, which can include signs. Check with your state licensing body.
Can I reuse signs on the next job?
Yes. Remove them carefully and store flat. Corflute can bend if stored curved or exposed to heat.
