From about November to April the far north has its storm and cyclone season, and squalls can arrive fast, so bring flags in whenever severe weather is forecast and never leave one out overnight in the wet. On an exposed site the small or medium height is easier to manage than the large. The supplied spike needs soft ground such as lawn, garden beds or sand; it will not go into the concrete at a marina or a paved forecourt, and we do not sell a cross base or water bag. Tropical sun fades printed fabric over months, so a business flying flags every day should budget for a spare.
