Signage and Wide Format Printing
Signs on corflute, ACM and other rigid boards, banners, flags, fabric displays, stickers and posters, printed and dispatched Australia-wide with live pricing and a free artwork check and instant online proof (manual proof $15).
Choosing signage
Corflutes, PVC banners, pull-up banners and posters each suit a different job. Corflute signs are a rigid, lightweight plastic board, good for property signs, directional signage and short-to-medium term outdoor display. PVC banners are a flexible vinyl sheet with eyelets, suited to fences, walls and hoardings where you need a larger surface. Pull-up banners come with their own retractable stand, so they're the option for events, trade shows and anywhere you need to set up and pack down quickly. Posters come in sizes from A4 to A0, from a single poster on 200gsm satin, 200gsm matt from 10 copies, or gloss, matt and artboard papers for bulk runs, for windows, foyers and noticeboards; 200gsm synthetic is waterproof for outdoor spots.
Beyond those four we print rigid signs on ACM, KAPAplast, polypropylene, screenboard, corrugated board and artboard; flags, fabric banners, mesh banners, fabric display stands and media walls; and stickers, window films, wall decals and DTF transfers. They are grouped below by what they are for.
All of them are configured and priced online before you order, with a free artwork check and instant online proof (manual proof $15) so you can check layout before we print.

Signage FAQs
What size poster should I choose for my promotion?
A4 and A3 fit standard frames and suit small spaces, noticeboards or desks. A2 and B2 are more prominent for retail windows. A1, B1 and A0 create maximum impact for large event promotion or exhibitions.
Which stock should I choose for posters?
For one poster or a few, 200gsm satin gives a photo-style finish and can be laminated in gloss or matt. For outdoors or damp spots, 200gsm synthetic is waterproof and tear resistant. 200gsm matt has no glare and starts from 10 copies. For bulk runs in A3, A2 and A1, the offset papers (115gsm to 250gsm gloss, 170gsm matt and 350gsm artboard) give the lowest price per poster, and can be printed on both sides.
How weather-resistant is corflute signage?
Corflute is weather-resistant and UV-stable, and typically lasts several months to a year or so outdoors, depending on exposure. Direct sun, wind and coastal conditions will shorten this, while a sheltered position extends it.
What sizes do you offer for corflute signs?
Our standard sizes are 450×600mm, 600×900mm and 900×1200mm, printed portrait or landscape at the same price. Other printers sometimes write these the other way round (600×450mm, 900×600mm and 1200×900mm); they are the same signs. The configurator also offers A4 to A0 and 300×450mm, with or without eyelets or taped edges.
How long do PVC banners last outdoors?
PVC banners are weather and UV-resistant and typically last several months to a couple of years outdoors, depending on exposure. Direct sun, wind and coastal conditions will shorten this, while a sheltered position extends it.
What size is the PVC banner?
Our standard sizes are 1 x 1m, 2 x 1m, 3 x 1m, 4 x 1m, 5 x 1m and 6 x 1m (1000 to 6000mm long by 1000mm high). The configurator also offers 600 x 600mm to 2400 x 1200mm and 300gsm mesh, 510gsm, 610gsm blockout and 440gsm vinyl, with hems, eyelets, rope or keder. 2 x 1m is the popular all-rounder and 3 x 1m suits most fences. Every size can hang landscape or portrait.
What kind of pull up banner stand is included?
Every pull-up banner comes with a silver retractable stand. The banner rolls back into the base for transport and sets up in moments, which is why they are also called roll up banners or retractable banners.
How stable are pull-up banners in outdoor conditions?
The retractable frame is best suited to indoor and sheltered outdoor use. For very windy conditions, anchor or weight the base.
How does the corflute A-frame work?
It is one sheet of 3mm corflute, printed on both faces, then cut and creased. It arrives flat packed and folds at the crease into a freestanding A shape, with no metal frame to assemble.
What sizes are available?
Each face is 600 x 900mm, A1 (594 x 841mm), A2 (420 x 594mm) or A3 (297 x 420mm). The metal A-frame option is 600 x 900mm.
What is foamboard?
Foamboard is a lightweight board with a foam core and a smooth face that prints well. At 5mm thick it is rigid enough to stand on an easel or hang on a wall.
Can foamboard signs go outside?
No. Foamboard is made for indoor use. It dents if knocked and is damaged by rain. For outdoor signs choose PVC signs or corflute signs.
What is foam PVC?
Foam PVC is a rigid plastic board with a smooth white face. It is waterproof, light for its strength and gives a clean, solid look on a wall.
Should I choose 3mm or 5mm?
3mm suits most wall-mounted signs up to A1 and 600 x 900mm. 5mm is stiffer and suits larger signs, freestanding displays and places where the sign may be bumped.
What is ACM?
ACM stands for aluminium composite material, sometimes sold as Dibond or Alucobond. It is a sandwich of two aluminium sheets around a polyethylene core, which makes it rigid, flat and weatherproof.
What sizes do ACM signs come in?
Nine sizes: 300 x 450mm, 450 x 600mm, A2 (420 x 594mm), A1 (594 x 841mm), 600 x 900mm, A0 (841 x 1189mm), 900 x 1200mm, 1200 x 1800mm and 1200 x 2400mm. The two 1200mm-wide panels are large and are priced and delivered as oversize freight, so the configurator shows delivery for your postcode before you pay.
What sizes do artboard signs come in?
Six sizes: 300 x 450mm, 450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm, 900 x 1200mm, 1200 x 1800mm and 1200 x 2400mm. The two largest are oversize and their delivery is priced for your postcode in the basket.
Is artboard suitable for outdoor signs?
No. Artboard is card and will curl and soften in rain or damp. Use it indoors or for very short-term outdoor displays in dry weather, and choose corflute, polypropylene, PVC or ACM signs for outdoor use.
What sizes and boards are available?
Two sizes. The 300 x 450mm sign is printed on beer mat board and the 450 x 600mm sign on 355gsm beer mat board. Each size comes on one board only, so there is no thickness choice to make.
Are beer mat board signs waterproof?
No. Beer mat board is absorbent. It suits indoor, dry use and will mark if splashed. For anything that gets wet, choose a plastic board such as corflute, polypropylene or PVC.
Is corrugated board the same as corflute?
No. Corrugated board is paper cardboard; corflute is a corrugated plastic (polypropylene) board. Corflute is waterproof and reusable. Corrugated board is recyclable but does not like rain, and for one sign it costs more than a corflute sign, so choose it for the cardboard look or for recycling.
What is the difference between B flute and E flute?
B flute has larger flutes and is thicker and stiffer. E flute is thinner with a finer surface that shows detail a little better. Prices are almost identical, so choose on stiffness and finish.
What is KAPAplast?
KAPAplast is a brand of lightweight, rigid foam board with a smooth, white printable face. It is lighter than PVC and flatter than ordinary foamboard.
What sizes and thicknesses are available?
Six sizes from 300 x 450mm to 1200 x 2400mm, in 5mm, 10mm and 19mm. Large quantities and the thickest board are offered on fewer sizes, so the configurator shows the quantities available for your choice. The two 1200mm-wide sizes are oversize, with delivery priced for your postcode.
Is polypropylene waterproof?
Yes. Polypropylene does not absorb water, so it handles spills, humidity and light rain. It is still best for temporary outdoor use; for permanent signs choose ACM or PVC.
What sizes are available?
Six sizes from 300 x 450mm up to 1200 x 2400mm. The 1200 x 1800mm and 1200 x 2400mm sizes are large and oversize, and the 0.8mm sheet is offered on them as well as 1.4mm on single-sided orders. Delivery is priced for your postcode.
What is screenboard?
A dense, smooth, rigid card board with a printable surface, often used in retail displays. It is stiffer than artboard and lighter than plastic boards.
What sizes are available?
Six sizes from 300 x 450mm to 1200 x 2400mm. The 1200 x 1800mm and 1200 x 2400mm sizes are printed on 2mm board only and are oversize, with delivery priced for your postcode.
What is a bollard cover?
A printed sleeve that wraps around a post or bollard to show a message or brand. It is sized for a standard bollard and is quick to fit and remove.
What sizes fit my bollard?
The cover comes in 270 x 1000mm and 300 x 1200mm, which is the flat size of the sleeve. Measure the distance around your post and its height before you order; the template shows the wrap and the join. If your post is an unusual size, contact us before you order.
What sizes do display cubes come in?
Five sizes: 300 x 300mm, 400 x 400mm, 500 x 500mm, 500 x 700mm and 500 x 900mm. The 500mm sizes are the common choice for towers and walls; the 300 and 400mm cubes suit counters and small displays.
How are the cubes supplied?
Flat-packed. You assemble them by folding and locking the panels together, and they come apart again for storage.
Which fabric should I choose?
For general use choose 230gsm standard eco, a durable, good-value fabric. For windy spots choose 105gsm flag mesh. For lights behind the banner or a dark background choose 260gsm premium blockout. The configurator shows the live price of each fabric.
Are fabric banners waterproof?
Fabric banners are water resistant and dry quickly, but they are not a rigid waterproof sheet like PVC. For permanent outdoor use, consider PVC banners.
What does a barricade banner fit?
It is sized for a standard crowd-control barrier of about 2m long. Measure your barrier before ordering if yours is a different length or height.
What is the difference between eyelet and Velcro fixing?
Eyelets let you tie or cable-tie the cover to the barrier. Velcro gives a quick on-and-off attachment for covers that are fitted and removed often.
What is the difference between print only and with frame?
Print only is the printed fabric skin, for use with a frame you already own. With frame includes the frame, so the display is ready to set up.
How do I set up a fabric display stand?
Assemble the frame, then slide or zip the printed fabric over it. Most stands take a few minutes with no tools.
What do I need to set up a media wall?
A frame, which you can order with the print or supply yourself, and a flat floor. Most walls are put up in minutes by two people.
How tall is a media wall?
The height depends on the frame you choose. The configurator shows the finished size of the option you select.
What is a feather flag?
A tall, narrow flag shaped like a feather or blade, attached along its straight edge to a flexible pole. Also called swooper, bowflag or flutter flags.
What comes in the complete set?
With pole, spike and bag you get the printed flag, the pole, a ground spike and a carry bag. Flag only is the print on its own.
Why choose mesh over a solid PVC banner?
Wind passes through mesh, so it puts far less strain on the fixings and the fence. Choose mesh for exposed outdoor sites and solid PVC banners where you need a sharper, opaque image.
What is the difference between the mesh grades?
12x12 premium has the finest weave and the sharpest print. 9x9 standard is a good all-rounder. 6x6 open lets the most wind through, with a coarser image.
When should I choose a rectangle flag?
Choose it when you have a logo or text that needs the most room. The rectangular shape shows your full design, where curved flags lose some of it at the edges. For more movement and visibility from a distance, feather and teardrop flags are the alternatives.
What comes in the complete set?
The printed flag, the pole, a ground spike and a carry bag. You can also order the flag only.
How does the standee stand up?
It has a support on the back so it stands upright on the floor. The proof shows the board and its position.
What sizes are available?
Six sizes: 450 x 600mm, 600 x 900mm, 600 x 1800mm, 900 x 1200mm, 1200 x 1800mm and 1200 x 2400mm. The 1200mm-wide sizes are large and oversize, and delivery is priced for your postcode in the basket.
What size table cloth do I need?
Match the cloth to your trestle table: 4ft for a small table, 6ft for the standard trestle and 8ft for a large trestle. Check your table length before you order.
What is the difference between tight fitted and loose throw?
A tight fitted cloth wraps closely around the table with a sharp, tailored look. A loose throw drapes over the table and is easier to put on. Straight fit hangs square to the floor. Check the current price of each fit in the configurator.
What is the difference between a teardrop and a feather flag?
A teardrop flag has a rounded, drop-shaped top and keeps its shape in light wind, so the design stays readable. A feather flag is a pointed blade that waves more. Both are tall flags on a flexible pole. A rectangle flag is the third style and shows the most area.
What comes in the complete set?
The printed flag, the pole, a ground spike and a carry bag. You can also order the flag alone.
What is a Toblerone sign?
A free-standing display folded into a triangular prism, named for its shape. Each of the three faces carries a printed message.
What sizes are available?
Three sizes: 600 x 1200mm, 400 x 1800mm and 400 x 2400mm. The two taller sizes are slimmer and suit long sightlines at events and aisles. Delivery is priced for your postcode in the basket.
What is the difference between an X-frame and a pull-up banner?
An X-frame banner hangs on a lightweight X-shaped frame, so it is the lighter and simpler stand. A pull-up banner rolls out of a cassette base and gives a flatter, more premium display for repeated use. Check the price of each in the configurator.
Is the stand included?
Yes. The banner is supplied with the X-frame stand and a carry bag.
What is the difference between die-cut, vinyl and roll label stickers?
Die-cut stickers (this page) are laser cut to the outline of your design and are made in runs of 500 or more (from 100 at 50 x 50mm). Our vinyl stickers are contour cut from a choice of 12 vinyls, in five sizes up to 150 x 150mm, from 25 to 1,000. Our sticker labels are standard circles, squares and rectangles on a roll, from 500. A kiss-cut sheet is several stickers on one backing sheet.
Which material should I choose?
White cast gloss paper is typically the lowest-priced and suits indoor use and packaging. White synthetic with a gloss laminate is waterproof, clear synthetic gives a see-through look on glass, and Arlon gloss vinyl is made for outdoor use (50 x 50mm only).
What is DTF?
DTF stands for direct to film. The design is printed onto a clear film in colour with a white layer, coated with adhesive powder and heat pressed onto fabric. It sticks to almost any fabric.
How do I apply a DTF transfer?
As a guide, place the transfer on the garment, press at about 150 to 160 degrees Celsius for 10 to 15 seconds, let it cool and peel the film. Settings vary with the fabric and your press, so follow the care instructions supplied with your order and test on a spare piece first.
Which vinyl should I choose?
For a short-term indoor sticker choose removable vinyl. For a permanent sign choose monomeric or polymeric vinyl. For rough or textured walls choose hi-tack. For windows choose window display, one-way window or a reverse printed clear film. For floors choose indoor floor display or Tekwalk.
What is polymeric air-release vinyl?
A more durable vinyl with channels in the adhesive that let air escape, so you can apply large sheets without bubbles. It is used for vehicles, walls and long-term graphics.
Will a bumper sticker survive outside?
Yes. The films are made for outdoor use and are rated by the maker for between about 2 and 6 years, depending on the film. A laminate adds scratch and fade resistance. Real life depends on sun, weather and how often the car is washed.
What sizes do bumper stickers come in?
Five sizes: 50 x 50mm, 50 x 100mm, 100 x 100mm, 200 x 200mm and 300 x 300mm. A 100 x 100mm sticker is a good small bumper size; 300 x 300mm suits a rear window or panel.
Are floor stickers slip resistant?
They have a textured surface for grip. Choose the heavily textured finish where floors may be wet or shoes are smooth soled. Check any local safety requirement for your venue.
Can floor stickers be removed?
Avery 3302 is removable and leaves little residue on suitable sealed floors. Avery 3300 and Orajet 3554 are permanent. Test a small area on delicate flooring.
What does kiss-cut mean?
The cutting blade goes through the sticker vinyl but not the backing sheet, so each sticker peels off cleanly and stays on the sheet until used.
How many stickers fit on a sheet?
As many as your layout allows. Put your own shapes on the sheet and mark the cut lines; for A4 a layout of 6 to 20 stickers is typical.
Can large stickers be cut to a shape?
Yes. Supply the outline as a cut line on a separate layer and the sticker is cut to it. The proof shows the cut path.
How long do they last outside?
The films are rated by the maker for about 2 to 6 years outdoors, depending on the film, with a laminate adding fade and scratch protection. Real life depends on sun and weather.
How many times can I move it?
A repositionable sticker can be lifted and re-applied many times as long as the adhesive stays clean. Keep it free of dust and fluff, and apply to clean, smooth surfaces.
What surfaces does it stick to?
Smooth, clean, dry surfaces such as painted walls, glass, metal, laminate and sealed timber. It does not stick well to rough, dusty or damp surfaces.
How does one-way vision work?
The film is full of tiny holes with a dark backing. From outside the printed side shows the image; from inside your eye looks through the holes to the outside. It works best when it is brighter outside than inside.
Does it block light?
It reduces light and glare a little. You can still see through it from inside in daylight, but it looks darker at night when the inside is lit.
Why would I choose a reversed sticker?
It sticks on the inside of the glass, so it is protected from rain, UV, cleaning and vandalism. It looks flush with the glass and lasts longer than outside stickers.
Do I need to mirror my artwork?
No. Supply it the right way round, as it will read from outside, and we reverse it when printing.
How is smooth dot different from a normal sticker?
A normal sticker has a full layer of adhesive and is hard to remove. Smooth dot uses a pattern of small adhesive dots, so it holds on smooth surfaces but peels off cleanly and can be re-applied.
What does it stick to?
Smooth, clean, flat surfaces such as glass, painted walls, metal, plastic and laminate. It will not hold on rough, dusty or damp surfaces.
What is a contour cut?
The sticker is cut around the outline of your design, so the sticker has the shape of your artwork rather than a plain rectangle. Supply the cut line as a separate path on its own layer.
What is the difference between vinyl stickers, die-cut stickers and sticker labels?
Vinyl stickers (this page) give you a choice of 12 vinyls and run from 25 to 1,000 in five sizes up to 150 x 150mm. Die-cut stickers are laser cut to your shape in 19 sizes up to 300 x 300mm, from 500 (100 at 50 x 50mm). Sticker labels are standard circles, squares and rectangles on a roll, from 500. For stickers bigger than 150mm, see large format stickers.
Will a wall decal damage my paint?
The decal is removable and designed to peel off cleanly, but paint quality varies. Do not apply to freshly painted walls (wait at least a few weeks), textured or flaking paint. Test a small hidden area first.
What walls do they stick to?
Smooth, clean, dry, sealed walls: gloss, semi-gloss or low-sheen paint, tiles and glass. They do not stick well to rough, textured or dusty walls.
What is backlit film?
A translucent film printed so it glows when lit from behind. It is used in lightboxes and illuminated signs, and it looks richer when lit than paper would.
What is blockout?
A dense, opaque 440gsm material that stops light and the back of the print showing through. It is used for banner stands, hanging signs and anywhere the background is busy.
What is a strut card?
A strut card is a card with a folding support (the strut) on the back, so it stands upright on a flat surface without a stand. It is also called a counter card or a table talker.
Which material should I choose?
A laminated artboard card on a screenboard strut is the lowest-priced option and works well indoors. Corrugated plastic and foamed PVC are tougher and wipe clean, which suits busy counters. Polypropylene is thin, flexible and water resistant.
