Order by dates for carols and Easter
Fence signs work best up three or four weeks before the event. These are the latest days to order with artwork ready to have signs in hand by each date, using the longest usual courier time in Australia.

How we work these out: your order and artwork reach us before 11am Brisbane time on a business day, we allow 1 business day for the proof, then the dispatch time shown, then a typical courier time of 2 to 8 business days, skipping Queensland public holidays for production. Couriers can run late, so order earlier if you can. These dates assume express delivery for signs where your basket offers it. Economy delivery to some areas, such as Perth, can take 12 to 14 business days, so order a week or two earlier if you choose economy.

Corflute Signs for Churches & Faith Communities
Corflute signs tell the whole street what is on. A sign on the front fence brings people to carols by candlelight, the spring fete, the op shop sale or an Alpha course. Corflute is a light, weatherproof fluted plastic board that handles rain and wind well. Ours are printed in full colour on one or both sides, in sizes from A4 to 1200 x 2400mm, with eyelets for cable ties, from one sign.
A typical order: two or three 600 x 900mm signs for the front fence and the car park entrance, a few weeks before the event. Smaller 450 x 600mm signs work as directional signs around the grounds, pointing to parking, the hall and the toilets. Print the date and time large, and use a sticker or a second sign for the next event so the boards can be reused. Dispatch is 2 to 6 business days after your artwork is approved, plus delivery priced by postcode. See our corflute sizes guide.
Worked example. A Uniting church runs carols on the lawn on the second Sunday of December. In mid November it orders three 600 x 900mm signs for the fence on the main road, and six 450 x 600mm signs to point visitors from the car park. The fence signs go up four weeks before the night. After the event, the volunteers store the signs flat in the hall cupboard, ready for next year with a new date sticker.
Rules for signs. Signs on your own fence are usually fine, but signs on footpaths, nature strips or council land often need permission. Check with your council before putting signs on public land, and take them down promptly after the event. Our corflute sign council rules guide lists the usual questions.

Design tips
Keep it to the event name, date, time and place. Use letters at least 80mm tall on a 600 x 900mm sign so drivers can read them. Use high-contrast colours, such as dark text on a white or yellow background. Leave a margin clear of the eyelet holes. Fix the sign at every eyelet so wind does not tear it.

Corflute Signs for Churches & Faith Communities: FAQs
What size should a church event sign be?
600 x 900mm suits a fence on a main road. 450 x 600mm suits directional signs around the grounds.
How long will a corflute sign last outside?
Several months to a year or so outdoors, depending on sun exposure. Store signs flat and out of the sun between events.
How do we put the sign up?
Use cable ties through the eyelets onto a fence, or fix it to a stake. Tie every eyelet so the sign does not flap in the wind.
Do we need council permission?
Usually not on your own fence, but signs on footpaths, nature strips and council land often need approval. Check with your council.
Do corflute signs get the community rate?
Yes. Verified churches, charities, clubs, schools and P&Cs get 10% off corflute signs, A-frame signs, PVC banners and PVC signs, applied automatically once the organisation is verified.
